My name is Charity Everjoy Tafirenyika and I was the last born in my on 8 April 1992 to Charity and Edmond Tafirenyika. My family is a christian family and I have been raised as a Christian since the day I was born. I lived in Zimbabwe until I was 10 years old then migrated to live in the UK. As I grew up into my early teenage life I became very quiet and reserved and found it hard to make friends. Being the last of four children, I was always "too young" for many things and stories that my other siblings talked about and therefore I was excluded out of the circle. When I was about 14 years old, I got an old guitar from a family friend and it is then that I began to have a great desire for music that I didn't even know existed. Music was a sort of comfort to me and I began learning more and more of my guitar and making instrumentals. It is from then on, at about the age of 15/16 that i began to write poetry and creative writing just for myself. Most of my writing was expressing suppressed emotions that I felt i had no-one to talk to about or thought no-one would understand. Being driven by this passion for writing, I also began writing songs as well as poetry and I enjoyed it very much. Now at this time I compose songs for others and myself, I also write poetry for people and inspirational writing and I enjoy it very much. This blog was just an opportunity to share most of my writing that I have kept so far. There may have been more but it is only some that I kept and thus I wish to share and hope to touch a life in some way
