Nature's song

I'm in love with nature's song

A certain serenity that is just beyond words

An undefiled beauty

A  melody that is sweeter than any other song

The symphony is inscribed on every plant and creature that dwells upon the earth

From the rippling of the river to the sound of the birds singing

It brings a calmness to my spirit like no human can ever do

No singing or preaching can beat natures sermon

For its a direct connection from God above

The passing of the breeze is like God brushing a kiss against my cheek

The trees wave and cheer as He comes to sit by me

In nature I see a purity that I wish for inside

Lost for Words as I listen to nature's song

The dance we shared

It clearly wasn't planned
But we ended up on the dance floor
Guess I can say we learned
Or expanded something that wasn't there before

So the music began and so did the movement
It began slow but the dance was fast within a moment
Without really understanding the steps we did the tango anyway
Til we realised that everyone else did it another way

So we slowed it down
Calmed it down a little
However still we'd learnt something different now
So still I decided to stay on the dance floor with you

The song changed and so did the atmosphere
Moved on a little from the first place that we were
Slight distance between but I waltzed right with you
Keeping an eye on the steps so in the dance I wouldn't lose you

The melody we whispered set the pace of the dance
Words in their own right seemed to do their own dance
Like sharing a passion between, they coiled and brought wisdom
Like us being the builders, and the words bricks building a kingdom

The first dance it seemed, like no-one was watching
But on the second, we realised the crowd had been watching
But in the focus of the dance their whispers seemed to fade
So we enjoyed the moment for it was only for two made

The song has just come to an end even though I didn't want it to
But good things come to an end even if we don't want them to
Yet I feel blessed, I shared a dance with you
And while I do the next dance, I will remember you

Letting you go as you walk back into her arms
She's your partner for life, for her you can write psalms
Your destiny, your vision so lead her step by step
And I pray they play the right song for your next two-step

It was different, though un-prepared
But I believe I enjoyed the dance we shared

Inspire me

Fill my brain with words

Flow through me

Let me get lost in a different world

Of motion

New emotions

Give me a vision

As I wait and listen

I trust you to be in control

Take my hands and my eyes

Let your spirit in me flow

Blind me to the worlds lies

Adjust me

Reset me

Switch on the You that dwells within me

So direct me

The path I want to take, you said ‘I am the way’

The truth and the Life, then you taught me how to pray

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be your name

Your name is the one I take and thus the reason you came

You knew me

Yet you loved me

Died for me

And redeemed me

My devotion and my hope

My strength when I cannot cope

My love, my friend, my life

My peace, my joy, the one to whom I’m wife

You’re everything and much more

When gripped by your presence, my inspiration soars

So back to you I come please refill me

Fear's match

My mind was at war
All around was desolation and my reason was at the brink of giving in
Fear kept turning up and taking charge over my life
So in its absence, I began to search for help
I took up weapons and pumped up weight by the Word
So when fear knocked...FAITH ANSWERED!

Legacy

The stages in life swiftly pass by
The days are numbered, and death will draw nigh
We're born; we live, one day we'll die
An inevitable process, but to its law we must comply

We have dreams and ambitions
So much we want to reach for 
For all of them we have reasons
And that drives and pushes us even more

We only have one life to live
The wheel of life turns slowly but surely
A second chance is only for God to give
And not everyone will get it, for some die prematurely
What stands before us are opportunities
While we're living in the face of present scrutiny
We must not give up our dream
"I will make it" should be our only theme

Look at life from the eyes that are above
For they that cheer you on left a legacy of love
A legacy of faith
A legacy of hope
A legacy of patience
A legacy that is left and known around the globe

What you do today, tomorrow will be a headline story
But without an impact, it can only just be history
Know to none, but only to you
For you will be the one that will account for what you do

So make a choice and choose wisely
Look at yourself and regard your chance highly
What you shall be depends on the decision made presently
For while you live, you're leaving a legacy

What will it say?
