Void of friendship

An empty void, a forgotten love

The struggle to survive has now resurrected the will to reconcile two lives that drifted apart

A starved ear, a hungry spirit 
Longing to hear the voice and feed the hunger within

A forgotten love
Or is it just hidden and etched within my heart

Burning a hole of condemnation at each thoughtful interval

The price of friendship paid in full, but in part is it redeemed

Every try is shunned by circumstances

A void builds

Sucking in every opportunity to try again

Defeating the mission my heart so much longed for

The difference of dwelling places

Destinies I once believed were intertwined…still joined

But the strings

They disturb me

They are swayed by the wind

The wind of forgetfulness

Humble we must become
And never forget the roots that brought us to where we are

I am still the same

The name never forgotten

Light…the lily that rose out of sorrow and to unending joy

Hidden life stays hidden

Not seeking to search it out so much
But to be a part of it once more

Once more
Out of the deafening sound of silence 
There are many voices that speak

But I have one of my own
Always there

Never forgotten
Always there

What shall become of us my friend
I dare to dream

The journey begins from today

The mission to re-build

Riddles spoken but understood by the heart

I write to understand even myself

Here it lays in letters and signs

So let the journey start
