I greet you all creatures of the earth. I who doth shed light upon you each day have somewhat to say to you.
You must have read in the Bible that there is nothing new under the sun, and so it is true and I am here to bear witness. For I was set at the beginning of time to be the greater light before you existed. My gaze never flinched when you was created out of the dust of the earth, and I saw the day man fell. My eyes saw the beginning of the two vines that did spring up from the garden of Eden to this day. I watched the wickedness that wrought murder in Eden and forced my strength to dry the blood of the innocent. When mankind began to unite in mischief and built up the tower of Babel, I had no choice but to look and observe their folly. No other creation has so displeased our Creator so many times but you mankind.
From behind the clouds I saw God work His judgement as He destroyed the creatures by water while Noah survived. Though all creatures had not sinned they did perish with humankind because of man's sin upon the earth. I could not stop the fire that rained from above to destroy the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah, and yet you have not learned. Oh ye creatures of the earth why do ye continue in your wickedness? I have gazed upon thee each day without rest and serve the purpose for which I was made, but do you? My eyes have seen all that has been and you do continue in repeating it in thinking you are doing something new. Yet there is nothing new under the sun; I the Sun bear witness.
Surely there shall come a day when God shall let me have my will and not look upon thee any longer. Even as for that day I saw them judge my Creator and find Him guilty of nothing else but love. I saw my Master groan as He was whipped and the skin ripped from His body. My eyes wept as I watched what He had chosen to go through just to redeem you mankind. I watched as He walked up that lonely hill to mount Calvary, but my eyes could not bear the pain of seeing my Creator suffer. I dared not show my face when they crucified Him, for I could not look upon such wickedness caused by man. But yet you have not learnt the depth of His sacrifice. For you do continue in your sin and try to deny the existence of He who has made you and I to exist. You have tried over time to create theories of your own to try and disprove what should be common sense to you. Is God's most treasured creation as you so arrogant and blind to the truth that lays before you?
I hold no ought against all for I have seen those who are faithful and live true to our Creator. For surely one day I could not help but obey the voice of one who knew his position and spoke with authority. Joshua was his name, and he did command me to shine all day through just so I could also watch as God delivered His people. Energy surged from within me the day I saw the Red sea part for the Israelites to pass through it. For before then, I had never seen such in all my days so my rays were shone brighter than ever on that day. It never did cease to amaze me as I saw it once again at Jordan with Joshua, and with Elijah and Elisha. Great works I have seen created by the hands of man. Great works I have seen done through the faith of man.
In the midst of the wickedness and the abomination of the earth, I wish to see again them who recognise that they are gods as they were made in the beginning. For I was there when the creatures were named by a creation. So thou art the exalted creation by our Creator. Mankind, come to your maturity.
I the Sun bear witness to this, there is nothing new under my eyes.
